Brooks Place – A Place to Call Home is proudly located in Gardena, The Freeway City, offering convenient access to community resources while providing a supportive and family-focused residential environment for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to empower each resident to reach their highest level of independence while receiving the compassionate care and supervision they need to thrive. We offer 24-hour staffing, three nutritious meals a day with snacks, assistance with daily living skills, coordination of medical and therapeutic appointments, individualized service plans, and engaging community outings that encourage growth and social development. We partner closely with regional centers, service providers, and families to ensure that each resident receives personalized care. All residents must be active clients of a California Regional Center, such as the Westside Regional Center.
